Snow flakes fall
Grey begins to dawn
With chills around
I hear your arrival
I am in a dream
Deep and fascinated
Knowing a shadow
Shall appear.
I beside you
Light and dark
Warmth and cold
Claim this time
Our memories
For winter has spoken
And you found me
Not to be apart
Differences still be
I shall listen
To the drumbeat of your heart.
